Across the UK thousands of children and young people are not able to live with their families for a wide variety of reasons. These reasons can include abuse and a lack of care. In these circumstances responsible authorities look to place these children with substitute families who can provide warm loving homes in which they can grow and develop. These homes are known as Foster Homes and the main carers in the house are called Foster Carers.
To be a Foster Carer you have to be approved with an Ofsted registered agency. Unity is an agency rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted across all areas of inspection. We recruit, train and support our Foster Carers to look after children who need warm loving homes when they are not able to live in their own families. See below for more information……
