During the assessment process, you can tell us what placement type you would prefer - for example, if you want to foster teenagers or siblings - and when you're approved, we'll use your information to carefully match you with a lovely foster child!
Can I become a foster parent?
Our basic fostering criteria is simple: we ask all applicants to be aged 25+, have a spare bedroom and be a UK citizen - and that's it! Ideally, we'd love for you to have access to a vehicle too, but this is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Being a foster carer is a challenging but incredibly rewarding role, and we urge anyone who has considered fostering to take the plunge!
